Students at AFSS

The Australian Society for Limnology actively encourages and supports the membership of postgraduate students with the aim of fostering the next generation of limnologists in Australia and overseas. The Society provides a number of initiatives for training and career development including:

  • Interaction, networking and mentoring from Australia’s leading water scientists and mangers
  • Participation in State workshops and seminar series
  • Participation in postgraduate workshops
  • Eligibility for student travel awards and prizes to attend ASL and overseas conferences
  • Membership of the ASL Executive to represent the student members

 

Travel Award for Indigenous Students -
